Each year, English Language Institute China sends students to the most populous country on the planet, helping Chinese students learn English and some of the cultural principals on which our culture is built. Big job. And Origin gave them the big resources they needed to spread the word: logo design, advertising, brochures, support collateral, stationery, posters, a new Web site and a wicked media campaign with video and business-card sized CDs.

This is a great program—Asian students get vital English-speaking skills, and volunteers get an unforgettable life experience, new friendships and the satisfaction of helping others and learning a new culture. So it deserved great brand visuals, too. That’s why Camp China chose Origin. We created an identity system that denoted adventure, service, relationships and learning—all with an Asian flavor. With warm colors and warmer smiles, the whole thing came together like pork and plum sauce.

Camp China Enrollment Package

Camp China’s kids would be taking up the challenge—but Mom and Dad would be taking on the bill. So we gave the program persuasive and inspirational promotional collateral that answered questions, heightened interest and gave it superstar credibility for all parties concerned. We also created promotional posters and all the program’s supporting materials to make sure the trip was a smooth ride from the time they signed up until they touched down back home.

For the program’s heavy recruiting artillery, Origin produced and packaged a promotional video on wallet-size CD that showed Camp China program in action, offered participant testimonials, showcased a boatload of life-long volunteer benefits and just got people super-hyped about it in general. The glossy brochures and a Web site were great—but the sights, sounds and smiles of those whose lives the program changed really got people off the fence and onto the flight arrangements.
