IT'S ALL JUST NOISE
Origin Joins Top Graphic Designers in Celebrating Houston

In 2006, Wetmore & Company released the limited edition book Our Home Town featuring a collection of photography and text celebrating Houston’s local flavor as seen through the eyes of the area’s top designers.

In Origin’s dedicated spread, the company’s local flavor was in full effect, with a specially staged photo shoot featuring every member of the Origin staff.

“We were really excited about the opportunity to contribute to Our Home Town,” said Origin Founder, Jim Mousner. “We love Houston—nearly half of our group went to UH, and the balance of freedom and opportunity you find here would be hard to replicate in any other city.”

The staged event and resulting group portrait were such a success at Origin that an annual party and photo op have become one of the company’s signature events. “The celebration of individual expression is exactly what makes this company, and Houston, such a wonderful place to be,” said Shawn Collier, principal. “Just wait until next year!”
