Houston—February 26, 2008—Origin, consistently ranked as one of Houston’s Top 10 creative agencies, has added former Bloomberg reporter and energy industry specialist Amy Strahan to its strategy team.

Prior to joining Origin, Amy served as an energy reporter for Bloomberg News' Houston bureau, covering companies such as Transocean Inc., GlobalSantaFe Corp., National Oilwell Varco Inc., Diamond Offshore Drilling Inc., Nabors Industries Ltd., Schlumberger Ltd., Weatherford International Ltd., and Cameron International Corp. he has also served as a finance and general reporter for Bloomberg News’ Washington bureau.

A native Texan and resident of Houston’s Third Ward, Amy earned her degree in journalism from the University of Texas at Austin, where she served as managing editor for the University’s newspaper, The Daily Texan.
