Andrew Busch, AIA, Architect at IIW, received his Architectural License from the State of Iowa.
Andrew passed the Architect Registration Examination administered by the Iowa Architectural Examining Board. The exam consists of seven divisions, including Programming, Planning & Practice; Site Planning & Design; Building Design & Construction Systems; Structural Systems; Building Systems; Construction Documents & Services; and Schematic Design. In addition to taking the exam, before being approved for registration, two other requirements must be met. This includes establishing an NCARB (National Council of Architectural Registration Boards) Council Record and completing the Intern Development program administered by NCARB. Andrew met both of these requirements.
Andrew has over ten years of design experience on several different project types, including K-12, commercial, municipal, and healthcare facilities. He is known for his attention to detail, providing innovative solutions, and striving for excellence in the built environment. With his client-focused nature, Andrew has an exceptional ability developing graphic depictions of projects, allowing building owners a chance to see the finished product before construction even begins.
Andrew has a Bachelor of Architecture from the College of Design at Iowa State University.
