Marc Ruden, PE, civil engineer at IIW, graduated from the ACEC Wisconsin Leadership Institute.
ACEC, American Council of Engineering Companies, of Wisconsin is an organization that was formed to support engineers in the state with a focus on the big picture in the industry. ACEC WI annually offers the Leadership Institute, a leadership and career development series. In its 13th year, the program gives participants well-rounded training on the business side of the profession. The experience is tailored to assist professionals to develop successful project management and leadership skills.
Marc was grateful for the opportunity to participate in the ACEC Wisconsin Leadership Institute.
“ The training sessions motivated me to not only develop the tools to lead and manage a consulting firm, but also served to provide insight into myself, my co-workers, and our clients’ needs. Participating in the training has been an invaluable experience and I plan to draw upon the lessons learned for years to come. One of the best experiences I have drawn from attending was meeting with peers from other consulting firms to share experiences with one another—what’s working, what we can improve on, and how we can do better at what we do. ”
Marc Ruden, PE
“ As a firm, it’s important for us to provide these types of leadership opportunities. It allows our staff to grow both personally and professionally. ”
