Origin Design partnered with the City of Davenport to bring new life to three of their city parks.

Origin’s civil engineers developed plans and specifications for the construction of commercial multi-sport courts at multiple parks throughout the City, including Cork Hill Park (1100 N. Farnam Street), Herington Park (935 Brown Street), and Van Buren Park (205 S. Elmwood Avenue).

Previously unused and/or underutilized, the new adaptable courts can be used for various activities, such as basketball, futsal, and pickleball.

The construction of the courts was paid for by the American Rescue Plan Act funds received by the City of Davenport. The three parks are among eight parks that received a total of $2.5 million in funding to be used toward various upgrades.
