Origin Design collaborated closely with the City of Preston to design and oversee the development of the Harvest Heights Subdivision, aiming to bring more residents and spur economic growth within the community.

The land for the subdivision was acquired by the City from Duane and Sally Marvin, providing the foundation for this development.

The project involved the creation of 26 residential lots, all of which were designed to connect with an existing subdivision to the north. Origin conducted topographic survey of the site and developed an accurate map reflecting the existing conditions. This phase was essential for understanding the land's features and planning the subsequent stages of development.

Origin Design also designed the layout for lot lines, streets, and proposed utilities. These included key components such as sanitary sewer, water main, storm sewer, and detention areas, all of which were designed to meet the needs of the growing community. The planning and development of these utilities would ensure the subdivision would be well-equipped for future residents.
