The City of Asbury partnered with Origin Design on the renovation of the Meadows Golf Course Clubhouse.
Budget was a primary concern for the City—Origin Design worked closely with them to design the scope of the project around the funds available. Renovating the current facility was the most cost-effective option for the City.
Originally constructed by the golf course creators, the clubhouse was designed around a business model of golf during the day and a premiere event center in the evenings.
When the golf course was purchased by the City, it was clear the event center was not as valuable to the City as golf course operations. The City recognized that operations should be relocated to a more premiere location in the clubhouse and they needed to expand golf-oriented programming.
The renovation included relocating the pro shop to a more visible, top floor location of the clubhouse from the lower level. It also included the addition of three top-of-the-line simulator bays, a premiere café/restaurant and social space.
