The City of East Dubuque partnered with Origin Design on this water tower construction and water main replacement project.

The City approached Origin Design to assist them with issues they were having with their water system. In working with the City, Origin Design determined that the City had areas within the existing distribution system that had low operating pressures and had a limited amount of usable storage in their existing standpipe.

After studying their system, the recommended improvements including the construction of a new water tower to both increase the pressure in the system which addresses the lower water pressure areas within the City. The project also included the replacement of a deteriorated water main that had numerous breaks over the years.

#workingontomorrow Check out the progress being made on the 6th Avenue and Northridge Road Improvement project in DeWitt, Iowa. This reconstruction project is set to be completed in October and included major improvements to public utilities along the roadway. Origin provided Land Survey, Engineering and Field Services for the project.
