Brian Balser Joins IIW as BIM/CAD Design Manager

Davenport, IA—Brian Balser recently joined IIW as BIM/CAD Design Manager.

In this newly-created position, Brian will oversee architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) digital design users. He will develop, maintain, and monitor IIW’s CAD standards for both Revit, Civil 3D, and other digital design software. His responsibilities include managing standards and process/workflow, user support and training, IT/technology/software support, staff management, and project delivery. 

Brian comes to IIW with a wealth of knowledge and many years of experience in the AEC industry. Prior to coming to IIW, he was an IT/CAD Manager for an engineering firm in Illinois. 

Brian has an Associate of Science in Engineering Technology from Hamilton Technical College.

Field Trip Friday! Our team was out on the Cheese Country Recreation Trail supporting one of several active projects with the Tri-County Trail Commission. From bridge measurements to survey work, we're helping gather the information needed to support trail improvements and protect areas impacted by erosion.We're proud to play a role in helping keep this community resource safe and accessible for everyone to enjoy!
