Several of IIW’s employee-owners recently earned additional licensure in Illinois and Iowa.

Noah Hofrichter, PE and Chris Becklin, PE became licensed to practice engineering in Illinois, while Andrew Busch, AIA, is now a registered architect in the state. In addition, Emily Crowe, PE became licensed to practice engineering in the State of Iowa.

Noah is a transportation engineer in IIW’s Dubuque office and has been with the company for 7 years. Emily is a structural engineer, also located in Dubuque, and has been with IIW for 6 years. Chris is a municipal engineer in IIW’s Fox Cities satellite office and has been with the company for 10 years. Andrew, an architect, is located in IIW’s Quad Cities office and has been with the company for 10 years.

Last week some of our engineers attended the Dubuque Gate & Pump Station Flood Mitigation Project Kick-Off! We're excited to be partnering with the City of Dubuque, Iowa, Portzen Construction and more on this phase of the Bee Branch Watershed Flood Mitigation Project.

The new facility will include a new flood gate, four new 100,000 gallon per minute pumps (double the capacity of the existing facility), new electrical service, and the installation of back-up generators.
