Jon Lutz, P.E. joins IIW as Senior Civil Engineer. With over 25 years of experience in municipal engineering, land development, and forensics, he will provide services out of IIW’s Quad Cities and Dubuque offices.
Jon will serve as the Engineer of Record and Project Manager on a number of different types of projects, including streets and utilities, water distribution and storage, site design, hydraulics and hydrology, storm water management, and sediment and erosion control. He will also have an instrumental role in enhancing forensic investigation work at IIW, including traffic accident reconstruction and insurance claims.
Prior to joining IIW, Jon was the Owner of Lutz Engineering & Consulting. He provided civil engineering services for municipal, commercial, land development, and forensic investigation projects. Prior to that, he served as the City Engineer for the City of Muscatine.
Jon is a licensed Professional Engineer in Iowa and Illinois. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.
