The completion of a new residential development on the picturesque Castle Hill in Dyersville, Iowa, resulted in a sought-after neighborhood and plans to expand.

project overview

Origin Design designed the first phase of the Castle Hill Estates project to include 37 lots in the rural subdivision. The Origin team worked to create a plan that would have minimal impact on the surrounding area and keep costs contained for the developer.

As part of preliminary design, Origin Design coordinated water and sanitary utility extensions with the City. The design used open drainage ditches to reduce storm water runoff in this phase of the subdivision.

Upon completion, the lots moved quickly, prompting the beginning of the next phase of the subdivision.

#workingontomorrow Check out the progress being made on the 6th Avenue and Northridge Road Improvement project in DeWitt, Iowa. This reconstruction project is set to be completed in October and included major improvements to public utilities along the roadway. Origin provided Land Survey, Engineering and Field Services for the project.
